We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation Solutions.
This role involves working with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement reliable and scalable AI and automation systems. You will be responsible for analyzing performance issues, defining service level objectives, and creating software to improve system performance and stability. Additionally, you will participate in operational support, drive blameless post-mortems, and evaluate methods for improving automation, security, and system observability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reliability engineering practices, experience with programming/scripting languages, and knowledge of ITIL v4 processes. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, be highly adaptable, and possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent field and minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience. They will be able to leverage enterprise-wide Tech@Lilly relationships to analyze the impact of changes in global services on Product Development operations and applications. Strong self-leadership and resourcefulness are essential for this role.
