D'Olier Street Restaurant is a new, modern fine-dining restaurant in Dublin 2. We feature a seasonal set menu, top-of-the-line wine and cocktail program, and one-of-a-kind hospitality.
We are currently seeking a full-time Pastry Chef to join the team starting ASAP
Who you are: The Pastry Chef position is a salaried team member who brings consistent and reliable culinary skill to D'Oiler Street. The ability to interact with staff and management in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, efficient, and reliable is crucial to this role. The ideal candidate exudes professionalism at all times.
What you'll do:
* Anticipate service needs, ensuring constant communication with kitchen staff, management, and the front of house at all times during service
* Follow D'Oler Street Standard Operating Procedures
* Perform opening, mid-shift and closing duties complying with operational standards
* Assist other team members and management when needed
Preferred qualifications:
* At least Three year of professional kitchen experience, fine-dining experience is preferred
* Ability to demonstrate classic cooking techniques
* An understanding of food safety standards
* Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Ability to work collaboratively, and interest in learning new skills
* Availability Tuesday through Saturday evenings
* English fluency
