Technical Field Sales Rep
for our very successful client in the construction sector.
Working for one of Ireland's most successful
building & construction supplies companies
, you will be required to closely focus your BD & Sales skills with a range of customers across the Midlands area, particularly Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Developers and their design teams to offer bespoke cost-effective solutions that will match each project's needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a portfolio of customers within the construction sector, including contractors, merchants, and specifiers.
Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term relationships.
Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to customers on-site and remotely.
Deliver sales growth through a consultative approach, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders, logistics, and after-sales service run smoothly.
Keep accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts using the CRM system.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in field sales, ideally within the
construction supplies, building products, or related technical sector
.
Strong understanding of the construction industry and supply chain.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
Third-level qualification
, ideally in a construction/engineering discipline
