Technical Field Sales Rep
for our very successful client in the construction sector.
Working for one of Ireland's most successful
building & construction supplies companies
, you will be required to closely focus your BD & Sales skills with a range of customers across the Midlands area, particularly Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Developers and their design teams to offer bespoke cost-effective solutions that will match each project's needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of customers within the construction sector, including contractors, merchants, and specifiers.
* Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term relationships.
* Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to customers on-site and remotely.
* Deliver sales growth through a consultative approach, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders, logistics, and after-sales service run smoothly.
* Keep accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts using the CRM system.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in field sales, ideally within the
construction supplies, building products, or related technical sector
.
* Strong understanding of the construction industry and supply chain.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
* Third-level qualification
, ideally in a construction/engineering discipline
