Commercial FP&A Accountant Location: Lucan, Dublin Contract: 12 Months (Fixed-Term) Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial FP&A Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to play a key role in supporting business performance, acquisitions, and strategic financial planning within a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role will support commercial decision-making through accurate forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis. The successful candidate will also play a key role in financial planning for new business initiatives and operational changes, including the integration of new business units. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and performance projections Provide clear financial insights and analysis to support commercial decisions Partner with internal stakeholders to align financial planning with business objectives Business Partnering Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Support the development of business cases for investments and operational changes Project & Integration Support Assist with the financial aspects of new business onboarding and integration Understand and communicate the financial implications of business changes Prepare and finalise reporting and analysis for new and existing business areas Reporting & Governance Compile financial information in line with reporting requirements Ensure consistency in financial data, KPIs, and performance metrics Support continuous improvement in financial reporting processes Whats on Offer 12-month contract with strong potential to add value in a strategic role Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid/flexible working arrangements Exposure to commercial finance, strategic projects, and cross-functional collaboration The Person Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in a commercial or FP&A role Strong Excel and financial modelling skills essential Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused
