A leading global medical device company is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its expanding engineering team in Limerick. This role offers the chance to work on electro-mechanical medical devices across the full product lifecycle, from early R&D through to commercialization.
What you’ll do:
Design electronic assemblies and PCBAs for medical device products
Lead and support electrical design from concept through V&V and commercialization
Work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, systems & quality teams
Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, FDA and other regulatory standards
Design and test for EMI/EMC, safety, and manufacturability
Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations
Participate in technical design reviews
What we’re looking for:
4+ years’ experience in electrical/electronic design
Medical device experience strongly preferred
Experience with design controls, EMC testing & requirements documentation
