A Tier 1 main contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join the Pre-Construction team in Kildare, supporting civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Ireland. Responsibilities Prepare and manage cost estimates from early budgets to final tenders using Candy software. Liaise with clients, designers, consultants, and quantity surveyors. Organise tender documentation, correspondence, and enquiries. Contribute to bid preparation, risk/opportunity registers, and review meetings. Produce accurate quantities from drawings or BIM models. Provide handover documentation for successful bids. Requirements Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree (or equivalent). Estimating experience in civil engineering projects (roads, bridges, rail, marine, water). Knowledge of Irish contract forms and measurement methods. Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Candy software experience preferred (training provided).
