Strategy and M&A Director, Advanced Analytics

The Services Business represents over a third of Mastercard revenues and is a key differentiator for Mastercard. Our unique and proprietary data, technology, insights, and expertise deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
This role supports the Advanced Analytics (AA) organization, which leverages cutting-edge AI and data science techniques to address complex business challenges, focusing on marketing, credit risk, and business experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead high-priority strategic projects, including problem scoping, planning, conducting complex analysis, and providing insights and recommendations
* Refine the Advanced Analytics strategy to reflect key issues impacting or expected to impact the company
* Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive opportunities
* Develop new ideas for growth opportunities based on market and competitive context
* Evaluate potential areas for partnerships and/or acquisition based on Advanced Analytics' strategic priorities
* Develop strategy presentations and memos for executives
* Cross-functional collaboration across AA and the Services organization to drive key initiatives
* Gain a deep understanding of the Advanced Analytics business line across geographies and products
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required, MBA and/or advanced degree from a top-tier program preferred
* 6+ years of consulting experience at a leading consulting firm and/or internal strategy units, including at least one year of project leadership
* Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen
* Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from start to finish, effectively driving forward project plans and leveraging stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Experience working with large global clients or at global organizations, with a proven track record of building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Strong aptitude for modeling and applying quantitative analytical approaches
