Kirby is a market leader in Power & Renewables, delivering HV and MV design and build projects up to 400kV, including substations, grid connections, BESS and renewable infrastructure, for clients such as ESB Networks, EirGrid and major developers across Ireland and the UK.
The Role
Based in Limerick, this role sits within Kirby's Power & Renewables Estimating team.
You will support the preparation of HV and MV tenders, working closely with Senior HV Tendering Engineers and HV Electrical Estimators.
This is a long-term career opportunity with a clear progression path to Senior HV Tendering Engineer.
Support tender design development for HV and MV projects
Assist with technical submissions and tender documentation
Liaise with HV Electrical Estimators and wider stakeholders
Review drawings, specifications and client requirements
Support accurate and competitive tender submissions
Develop knowledge of HV engineering standards and best practice
What We're Looking For
Qualification in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a third-level focus on HV/MV engineering
Strong interest in building a career in HV estimating and tendering
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take ownership
Placement, internship or project exposure in HV/MV, power systems or renewables is desirable
