FT is seeking to hire a Project Town Planner to join our Planning team, contributing to the growth of our planning services and collaborating with professionals across the company.
This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of two years' experience, offering exposure to a wide range of planning activities, including preparing planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), planning appeals, feasibility assessments, and research.

FT's ResponsibilitiesWhat would my main responsibilities be in this role? Supporting the coordination and delivery of projects, including preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and reviewing submissions related to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.Ensuring projects are completed on time, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.Interpreting and evaluating planning policies, providing informed recommendations to colleagues.Skills / QualificationsAm I the right person for the role? Hold a recognised planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited).At least two years of relevant professional experience.Solid understanding of the Irish planning system and key environmental considerations.Experience in offering planning-related advice.Knowledge of planning, development, and environmental issues.Proficient in drafting reports and making well-rounded recommendations.Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Is FT the right fit for you?
