Job Description: Cloud Service Administrator (3 FTE)
We are seeking experienced Cloud Service Administrators to support a large‑scale, regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidates will have deep Azure expertise, strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code capabilities, and a mature DevSecOps mindset. This role requires regular travel, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Dublin as part of a hybrid working model.
Ideal Candidate Profile
⭐ 1. Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer
5–10 years of hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure
Strong background in Azure‑centric enterprise environments
Able to own infrastructure end‑to‑end and work autonomously in regulated settings
⭐ 2. Deep Azure Expertise
Candidates must be able to design, build, automate, and troubleshoot complex Azure environments, including:
VNETs, V‑WAN, BGP
Private endpoints, routing, firewalls
Multi‑region architectures
Azure DevOps pipelines
Azure Policy / Policy‑as‑Code
⭐ 3. Terraform Specialist
Able to write modular, reusable Terraform code
Strong understanding of state management, workspaces, and drift
Experience with large‑scale IaC deployments
Capable of designing IaC patterns, modules, and guardrails
⭐ 4. DevSecOps Mindset
Strong focus on security automation and shift‑left practices
Experience implementing Policy‑as‑Code
Familiarity with CI/CD governance and compliance gates
Comfortable working with CIS/NIST‑aligned frameworks
⭐ 5. Strong Networking Background
Hands‑on experience with cloud networking automation
Understanding of routing, segmentation, and firewall technologies
Ability to troubleshoot complex network flows
Experience integrating network security into CI/CD workflows
⭐ 6. Scripting & Automation Skills
Proficiency in at least one or two of the following:
Python
PowerShell
YAML
KQL
Used for automation, tooling, and CI/CD support.
⭐ 7. Experience in Regulated Enterprise Environments
Familiarity with governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Experience with structured delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Ability to document, justify, and standardise engineering work
⭐ 8. Willingness to Travel Weekly to Dublin
Comfortable with 2–3 days per week onsite
Experience working in hybrid, distributed teams
Understands the value of in‑person collaboration in regulated environments
⭐ 9. Problem Solver & Builder
Able to investigate and resolve complex infrastructure issues
Capable of re‑engineering processes and building automation from scratch
Evaluates new tools, platforms, and frameworks
Supports product teams in adopting DevSecOps practices
