Role Overview
This position is responsible for the creation of precision tooling, fixtures, prototypes and moulds through the operation of various machinery including 3/4/5 axis machines and EDM wire & Die sinker.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CAD designs, machining strategies and material expertise. They will be able to interpret blueprints, layouts, sketches or non-dimensioned CAD models to plan efficient high-quality machining.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program set up and operate 3/4/5 axis machines (FANUC HAAS Doosan DMG Mori) EDM wire & Die sinker manual lathe manual mill surface grinder.
2. Machine a variety of materials to create precision tooling fixtures moulds prototypes.
3. Analyse specs determine required tools equipment apply material expertise machining strategies.
4. Interpret blueprints layouts sketches or non-dimensioned CAD models to plan carry out efficient high-quality machining ensuring machined parts meet dimensional surface finish functional standards.
5.
