Job Title: Technical Supervisor

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to join our food manufacturing site in Carrigans, Co. Donegal.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically qualified individual with strong commercial understanding and the ability to influence and drive good manufacturing practices across the factory.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high technical standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across operations.

* Support the Technical Manager in developing and implementing food safety, quality, and compliance standards across the site.
* Liaise with auditing bodies and customers, ensuring audit readiness and compliance at all times.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, addressing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
* Oversee adherence to HACCP principles, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
* Promote good factory practices and ensure production teams uphold the highest quality standards.
* Conduct investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
* Manage documentation, technical reports, and corrective action plans accurately and efficiently.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

* A degree or HND in a food-related discipline.
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a technical role within a high-volume food production environment.
* Strong working knowledge of HACCP, customer and regulatory standards, DAFM requirements, and local legislation.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to influence and engage across all levels of the business.
* Confident in root cause analysis, record keeping, and audit preparation.
