Job Summary
The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Administrator to manage and process payroll operations in compliance with Irish employment and tax legislation to join our team.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain statutory records, and support financial forecasting and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls in accordance with Irish PAYE Modernisation requirements.
Calculate and apply statutory deductions including PAYE, PRSI, USC, and pension contributions.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with Revenue Commissioners and Department of Social Protection guidelines.
Distribute weekly reports on payroll performance to internal stakeholders.
Distribute weekly reports on payroll forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting.
Manage and maintain accounting records within the time and attendance software, ensuring integration with payroll and HR systems.
Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, deductions, and statutory entitlements.
Ensure compliance with statutory leave entitlements including sick pay, maternity/paternity leave, and public holidays.
Assist with year-end processes including P60s, P45s, and Revenue submissions via ROS.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and reporting.
Stay up to date with changes in Irish payroll legislation, including auto-enrolment and minimum wage updates.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably within an Irish context.
Strong understanding of Irish payroll systems and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage Micropay, Thesaurus, BrightPay) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
IPASS (Irish Payroll Association) certification or equivalent.
Experience with Revenue Online Service (ROS) and time & attendance software.
Familiarity with HRIS and financial reporting tools.
