Job Summary: Joie Limited is a global company that designs, develops, and distributes household, kitchen, and personal care products. We supply products to a broad customer base through major brick-and-mortar and online channels across Europe, North America, and other international countries. Our customers include large retailers such as Aldi, Tesco, Lidl, Walmart, Target and Costco. We are hiring a demand planner based in Ireland to support our European business. This position is responsible for generating demand forecasts, examining sales trends, and working with internal sales teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels that match customer demand. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain operations, minimizing stockouts and surplus inventory, and supporting both daily operational requirements and long-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales teams to develop and update demand forecasts at various aggregation levels (SKU, customer groups). Monitor and report forecast accuracy and key performance indicators, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Create and issue supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets to maintain optimal customer fill rates. Coordinate with international offices and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and production prioritization. Review inventory levels and provide recommendations to prevent excess stock or shortages. Take part in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align supply strategies with business objectives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with hands-on experience or exposure to tools such as Power Bi, advanced Microsoft excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Capability to work remotely in a focused and productive manner. Flexibility to accommodate occasional meetings outside standard working hours due to time zone differences with our US corporate office, located in California. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the retail sector. Familiarity with ERP systems, especially NetSuite. Previous experience working remotely or in hybrid settings.
