Senior Finance Director

A leading not-for-profit organisation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Director to lead its finance function across multiple service centres nationwide. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the Board of Management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency across the organisation's residential and day services.

Main Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the finance team across 15 service centres, providing guidance and direction to ensure smooth operation.
* Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submission of financial statements.
* Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and KPIs to drive business performance and improve operational efficiency.
* Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and insurance processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders, providing clear and concise financial information to support decision-making.
* Support strategic initiatives and organisational change, working closely with the leadership team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams, with experience in using financial software and systems.
* Experience in the not-for-profit or public sector is desirable, with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities, with strong interpersonal and team management skills.
