As a Cloud Architect you'll lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that support our customers' digital transformation.
This highly technical position also demands a deep understanding of business needs and alignment of IT and cloud strategy.
Tasks
Provide strategic influence across groups, projects, and products based on a detailed cloud stack to implement cost‑effective technology solutions to solve complex business problems.
Engage in concept discussions and propose technology solutions to meet business objectives.
Engage with senior leadership and project stakeholders to articulate opportunities, costs, and risks associated with decisions around platform architecture and implementation.
Design and define cloud architectural solutions and oversee their implementation.
Participate in the development and continuous improvement of application and data architectures in the cloud, in line with IT Solution Design Principles.
Ensure that agreed standards and working practices are followed, highlight any non‑conformance, and promote a collaborative, innovative environment.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture.
At least 3 years delivering Azure Cloud solutions.
A proven track record as a Cloud Architect delivering successful migration or greenfield projects.
Experience implementing third‑party Saa S solutions.
Proficiency in designing, building, and deploying complex infrastructure.
Extensive experience in cloud technologies across all areas of the IT industry.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and automation.
Deep understanding of cloud networking intricacies.
Broad understanding of latest technologies, industry issues, competitor and vendor activity.
Experience with cloud design, strategy, and architecture activities.
Experience in technology partner management, including leading vendors/partners in architectural design.
Availability to travel frequently to client premises within Europe.
