Financial Accountant Specialist

This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, working closely with internal stakeholders and supporting local and group-level accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts according to company policy and accounting standards.
* Prepare and post journal entries for accruals prepayments and provisions.
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations investigating discrepancies.
* Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
* Assist in preparing financial statements and other management reports.
* Reconcile intercompany transactions coordinating with other entities.
* Manage fixed asset accounting including depreciation disposals.
* Support internal external audits through timely provision of documentation analysis.
* Evaluate compliance with IFRS internal controls corporate policies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the accounting controls team.
About You
* Qualified accountant (ACCA CPA CIMA equivalent).
* Minimum 2-4 years experience in general ledger or financial accounting ideally in a shared service multinational environment.
* Strong technical understanding of IFRS general accounting principles.
* Excellent Excel skills with confidence working with large data sets.
* Detail-oriented deadline-driven proactive in identifying process improvements.
* Strong communicator collaborating effectively across teams regions.
