Nationwide Logistics and Distribution Manager (Warehouse and Distribution in Galway and Dublin).
This is a key leadership role within the business, reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility for ensuring efficient warehouse and distribution operations, strong team leadership, and continuous improvement across the Galway and Dublin sites.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the warehouse and distribution operations teams, ensuring high performance and strong teamwork.
Plan and coordinate goods inwards and outbound logistics and distribution to ensure efficient product flow.
Work closely with freight partners and suppliers to optimise deliveries and transport efficiency.
Deliver continuous cost efficiency Reduce complexity I the operation Maintain high standards of stock accuracy, organisation and product location management.
Continuously improve warehouse layout and operational workflows to maximise efficiency.
Ensure strong focus on health safety and operational compliance as well as RSA and all other areas of compliance.
Develop career progression programmes for team members and manage performance plans and individual development plans.
Manage the site facilities, ensuring the warehouse and operational areas are maintained to a high standard.
Monitor operational performance and develop KPIs to drive operational excellence.
Work closely with management and commercial teams to ensure excellent service to customers.
Lead team development through training, planning and performance management.
The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in warehouse or operations management.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving ability.
Experience working with logistics, freight providers and supply chains.
Strong attention to detail with focus on stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
Good commercial awareness and ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems.
Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
