Battery Systems Engineer
This role involves working with an engineering company that designs and develops battery-related technology in their products.
* Leading design, validation, and maintenance of all battery components throughout their lifecycle.
* Maintaining these systems through to end of life ensuring high reliability and performance.
* Collaborating closely with electronic and mechanical teams to ensure the batteries and power systems are viable within the product.
This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles as well as experience working on battery-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of battery management systems (BMS) including charge/discharge control algorithms, cell balancing techniques, and thermal management strategies. Proficiency in software tools such as MATLAB or Python for simulation analysis is desired but not required.
The engineer should also possess excellent problem-solving skills along with effective communication abilities.
