Job Opportunity:
SHEQ Manager Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our companies Environmental Management System; Health & Safety Management System & Quality Management System.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of the Management and Environmental Management System, ensuring conformity to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
* Set high standards of leadership in promoting HS&E procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Report on the performance of the Quality and Environmental Management System, identifying opportunities for improvement, particularly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Control:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date document information.
Liaison:
Foster relationships with external parties concerning Health & Safety and Environmental Management system matters.
Customer Focus:
Promote a customer-centric approach throughout the organization.
Internal Auditing:
Conduct internal audits within the company to ensure adherence to established standards.
Health, Safety and Environment:
Implement and maintain the Health & Safety and Environmental Management System, ensuring its integrity during changes to the Quality Management System.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
A Level 8 Qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety is required.
Certifications:
A Certificate Level in Environmental Management is essential.
Membership:
iOSH Membership is mandatory.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years' experience is required, preferably in the civil engineering industry.
Card Requirements:
A valid Safe Pass and/or SMSTS card is necessary.
Skills:
High-level administrative and IT skills are essential.
Travel:
The successful candidate must be willing to travel as required.
