Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Role Overview:
The Inside Sales Respresentative will play a critical support role within the IVD Division, working closely with the Territory Manager to drive business growth, enhance customer engagement, and ensure operational excellence. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual with strong communication and organisational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support & Lead Generation
2. Qualify inbound leads and proactively generate new opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital campaigns.
3. Maintain and update CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate customer and opportunity data.
4. Support the Territory Manager in preparing quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
5. Assist in scheduling product demonstrations, webinars, and customer meetings.
6. Customer Engagement & Account Management
7. Act as a first point of contact for customer queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
8. Build strong relationships with existing accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
9. Monitor customer satisfaction and escalate issues to relevant teams when needed.
10. Operational & Commercial Support
11. Collaborate with Customer Service, Technical Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
12. Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline status, and campaign effectiveness.
13. Support marketing initiatives including email campaigns, product launches, and event coordination.
14. Prepare quotations, tender response assistance with Tenders team.
15. Collaboration & Communication
16. Work closely with the Territory Manager to align on account strategies and business development plans.
17. Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate product and pricing information.
18. Participate in internal training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
19. Develop best in class "sales call plan information packs" for key customer visits.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* A scientific qualification to degree level
* 2+ years in a sales role, inside sales, or customer service role (preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences).
* Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Excel, and digital communication tools like Microsoft Dynamics.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Commercially aware with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
