Senior Auditor - Aviation Sector
Location: Athlone | Hybrid Working Available
A leading Irish firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Auditor to join its Aviation team in Athlone. This is a unique opportunity to work with a portfolio of aircraft leasing and aviation finance clients, supporting complex international operations within a dynamic industry.
The Role
As a Senior Auditor in the Aviation sector, you will be responsible for managing audit engagements end-to-end, while developing specialist expertise in a globally significant industry.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Auditor Job:
* Lead and coordinate aviation-related audit assignments from planning through to completion.
* Present key audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
* Build and maintain technical expertise in aircraft leasing and aviation finance.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development.
* Collaborate across departments including Tax, Corporate Finance, and HR Solutions to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.
* Provide proactive insights that add value and build lasting client relationships.

Requirements for the Senior Auditor Job:
* Recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
* Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
* Previous experience or a keen interest in aircraft leasing or aviation finance.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
