CAD TECHNICIAN / CONSTRUCTION DETAILER (2D or 3D). Wright Quarry Products are a leading manufacturer of concrete products in Ireland. Established over 65 years ago, our product and service offering cater for residential, commercial, civil and agricultural construction projects of all scale across Ireland and the UK. We are seeking to recruit Construction Detailers to join our Structural Precast Division headquartered in Swanns Cross, Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan. Successful applicants will have a chance to work on a wide range of challenging projects. Working as part of a team, responsibilities will include the preparing of accurate and detailed drawings, schedules and specifications for precast products.
Suitable candidates will have previous experience of construction detailing in 2D or 3D and/or have previously served in the construction trade with good IT skills and an interest in adapting to an office-based role.
Responsibilities
* To create detailed, accurate and concise drawings for various construction projects and concrete products
* For customer approval
* For production and installation teams
* For other sub-contractors and partners involved in the project
* To liaise with the client and other internal and external professionals until full approval has been received
* Effective communication amongst clients and colleagues including architects, engineers and project managers
* To provide suitable and practical solutions to meet client expectations
* Meeting and managing deadlines of various projects at any one time
Skills & Qualities
* Experience in detailing Reinforced Concrete Products would be advantageous
* Experience in use of detailing packages such as AutoCAD or REVIT is highly advantageous
* Ability to interpret construction and service drawings is highly advantageous
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy
* Excellent team, organisation and time management skills
* Good verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
