We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day finance in a growing, internationally active professional services business.This role is practical and operational. You'll be responsible for invoicing, cash collection, and keeping the financial engine running properly. It's not a reporting-only role and it's not junior. The finances are not run on excel. We operate the system using Quickbooks. STRONG preference for people with experience using QB but other software also an advantage….The role you will be responsible for:Issuing invoices promptly against agreed fees and milestonesActively managing accounts receivable and chasing overdue paymentsMaintaining accurate bookkeeping and financial recordsVAT, payroll and Revenue filingsProviding clear visibility on cash position and aged debtPreparing basic monthly management informationFlagging issues early — missed invoices, slow payers, anomaliesThe aim is simple: the business is paid on time and finance runs without any issuesWhat we're looking forSolid experience in SME finance (professional services or project-based businesses a plus)Comfortable owning invoicing and debt collection directlyOrganised, detail-focused and reliableCalm but firm when it comes to payment follow-upHappy to be hands-on rather than purely strategicThe setup:Part-time roleHybrid / remote workingReports directly to the founderOpportunity to shape and strengthen the finance function as the business growsJob Type: Part-timePay: €25.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 16 per weekBenefits:Work from homeWork Location: Remote
