About the Hotel
The Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort offers 92 guest rooms, 3 self‑catering lodges, a Brasserie, and The Fairways Restaurant, overlooking the golf course, Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50.
Key Responsibilities

Assist and manage the availability and coordination of the hotel function diary.
Deliver a high level of service at all conference and banqueting events.
Adhere to 10‑day, monthly and quarterly event planning sheets, ensuring accurate staffing and equipment levels.
Ensure function and conference room areas are maintained and presented according to a scheduled cleaning and maintenance programme.
Manage all event equipment, minimise breakages, and control par stock in accordance with the annual budget.
Secure Audio Visual and IT equipment, reporting any issues or missing items to the General Manager promptly.
Set and develop function service standards, documenting and implementing through a planned training programme.
Lead by example with grooming standards and professional conduct at all times.
Prepare and update menus, floor plans and table plans for all functions.
Follow up on provisional bookings made.
Arrange show‑arounds and final detail appointments as required.
Liaise with Reception regarding accommodation bookings for weddings and conferences.
Adhere to company policies, including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Cash Handling.
Communicate effectively with other employees to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Essential Requirements

1‑2 years of previous hotel 4*/5* experience in conference and banqueting.
Fluent in English (both oral and written).
Strong passion for delivering high‑standard customer service.
Excellent communication and procedural skills.
Reliable, organized, and a natural team player with enthusiasm for people.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
