Quantity Surveyor (Data Centres & Pharma)

Key Responsibilities
* Manage all quantity surveying and commercial functions from project inception to completion.
* Prepare cost plans, budgets, and detailed estimates for modular and cleanroom projects.
* Administer contracts (NEC / FIDIC), ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
* Prepare and agree interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Procure subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades, securing competitive pricing and quality delivery.
* Monitor and forecast project costs, manage cash flow, and identify commercial risks.
* Support project managers and engineers in aligning cost, programme, and quality targets.
* Contribute to tendering, pre‑construction planning, and value engineering exercises.
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure all commercial activities adhere to company standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor (BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field).
* Minimum 5–8 years’ post‑qualification experience within the construction or modular sector.
* Proven track record on biopharma, data centre, or cleanroom projects.
* Understanding of off‑site and modular construction methodologies desirable.
* Experience managing NEC / FIDIC contracts and familiarity with cost management software.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Willingness to travel to European sites as required.
Preferred Attributes
* Membership or working towards membership of SCSI / RICS.
* Experience within GMP, ISO cleanroom, or other high‑spec environments.
* Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced project environment.
