About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Finance Analyst to support the Finance Manager of an industry leading organisation in delivering accurate forecasting and budgets. This is a varied and commercially focused role, offering a chance to work closely with business managers and really develop an understanding of how the business operates.
What will you be doing?
* Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts, including stock journals, accruals, and recharges.
* Support the delivery of the annual operations budget.
* Provide financial insights and analysis to guide decision-making.
* Identify and report variances to expectations, ensuring these are clearly understood and communicated.
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and identify areas for financial improvement.
* Prepare and communicate financial data and monthly reviews to stakeholders.
Is this you?
* Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or other relevant qualification)
* Has strong analytical skills and the ability to explain financial insights clearly.
* Thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
* Enjoys solving problems and adding value through financial analysis.
* Is proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (e.g., formulas, data analysis tools).
* Has experience in financial reporting and identifying variances to expected results.
* Demonstrates a proactive and dedicated approach to delivering useful, actionable financial information.
