Job Title: Lead Care Manager - Dementia Support
The role encompasses the management of all aspects of a designated centre, including provision of a high-quality, person-centred service to residents and effective management of staff teams and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and health standards.
* Develop and implement strategies for improving resident care and experience.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support for individuals with dementia.
* Mentor and train staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills in dementia care.
Requirements:
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
* Compliance with Health Act (2007) Regulations (2013) requirements
* Strong working knowledge of HIQA Standards and associated regulations and guidance
* Clinical experience supporting people with dementia
Desirable Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
* Management qualification
* Irish driving licence
