They are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Semi-Senior Accountant to join the team. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients. You will work closely with senior staff members and gain valuable experience in a variety of areas within accounting and audit. Key Responsibilities: Preparing financial statements for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Assisting with audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion. Performing bookkeeping and management accounting tasks. Preparing tax computations and returns. Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships. Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of current accounting and auditing standards. Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting deadlines. Essential Requirements: Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA) or actively pursuing qualification. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role within an Irish practice environment. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (IFRS, GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Desirable Requirements: Experience with Irish tax legislation. Familiarity with audit software (e.g., CaseWare).
