You will have a thorough grasp of electrical design and engineering techniques. With confidence in working independently and in support of the team, ensuring successful completion of designs to meet construction timelines and requirements.About you:Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential8+ years as a Senior EngineerMust have electrical building services design experience within Data Centre engineering projectsIn-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniquesDeep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN StandardsWorking knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantageConfident leading projects from the concept stage to completionCommunicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managersManage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projectsLead the Electrical Services design for a range of projectsDesign and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectorsDevelop the electrical design standards within the organisationProvide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completionTender report/analysis/recommendationsDevelop project scope with the design team/clientConfidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVITProduce budgets and reports for clientsAttend site visitsTake lead on projects with minimal input from the management teamFlexible working time20 Days holidays up to 25 dayPension SchemeWorking travel out-of-pocket expenseTravel tax scheme or bike-to-work schemeRegular training/mentoring / further college supportSupport for Charter shipSubsidised Health Insurance AllowanceA Professional Subscription Fee paid by the companyPaid Statutory LeaveHealthcare check-ups and flu vaccinationGym / Fitness membershipHeavily subsidised social committee (5 a side, golf society, climbing club and regular social events)Here at Ethos we believe in equal opportunities and that each individual can bring something unique to our organisation.
