About the Role
We are seeking caring, professional, and enthusiastic Early Years Educators to join our growing childcare team in.
You'll work as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 0-6
Our setting follows the Aistear and Síolta frameworks, ensuring a play-based, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate learning activities in line with Aistear and Síolta.
Support the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure compliance with Tusla Early Years Regulations and all health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records, daily logs, and observations.
Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
A recognised childcare qualification:
QQI Level 5 (or equivalent EU qualification)
QQI Level 6 (Room Leader level)
Degree in Early Childhood Education / Early Years / Childcare (Level 7 or 8 equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of relevant childcare experience.
Must have the right to work freely in Ireland(EU/EEA citizens or other unrestricted status).
Police clearance / criminal record check from home country (or Irish Garda vetting if available).
Good spoken and written English (minimum CEFR B1–B2).
Genuine passion for early childhood education and child wellbeing.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
Experience working in a Tusla-registered early years setting.
Current First Aid, Manual Handling, or Children First certification (training can be provided).
Working Conditions
Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
Contract: Permanent full-time (subject to probation).
Annual Leave: 20 days per year + public holidays
