As the new Public Affairs Project Coordinator, you will be required to execute and complete tasks within the scope of a larger government relations or policy program team under guidance from the manager of this team.
You will perform a range of policy tasks and work with more experienced policy colleagues on research, analysis, and execution of policy strategy and initiatives.
In order for you to be considered for this role you will require
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, European Studies, International Relations, Communications, Economics, or a related field, and 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or a related support function, preferably within a public affairs, government relations, policy, or research environment is required for this role. Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in the English language. Experience with administrative processes, including scheduling, note-taking, document management, and basic budget tracking. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential. Understanding of project management principles and workflows. Specific Tools or Applications experience: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Drive, Gmail).
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: (Skills that would be nice to have but are not essential in the role) Experience working on projects related to digital policy, economic policy, or European Union affairs. Familiarity with thought leadership development processes or research project administration. Familiarity with EU institutions and policy-making processes Experience working with external vendors or managing contracts. Knowledge of additional European languages.
