CRP Subsea are looking for a Waste Operative to support our Operations Team in Skelmersdale, working 4 hours per day, 5 days per week.What Will You Do As Our Waste OperativeTake responsibility for controlling the storage and disposal of all waste generated on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and safety requirements.Contribute to the manufacturing unit with particular emphasis on efficient individual and team working through adequate communication and training.Ensure strict compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures with particular reference to health, safety and quality.Operate machinery and equipment safely, consistently adhering to all Health & Safety regulations.Respond quickly and effectively to changes in production planning, maintaining smooth workflow.Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in accordance with relevant Preventive Maintenance documentation.Report any unresolved issues to your Supervisor.Reduce occupational injuries inherent to the area by ensuring proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.Ensure that the housekeeping in the areas under the Production Lead control is maintained to the highest standard.Liaise with HSEQ to ensure latest legislation is being adhered to.Organise collection of materials directly with pre-qualified suppliers.Disposal of goods in accordance with rules, regulations and legislation applicable to the UK.Support and fulfil all Global Operations duties outlined in The Map and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.What Are We Looking For In Our Waste OperativeFLT Licence is required.Effective communicator and strong team player.Deliver excellent customer satisfaction by continuously meeting and exceeding expectations.Understand customer needs and develop interventions to fulfil requirements.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce.GCSEs in Maths and EnglishA Health & Safety qualification or equivalent in a Manufacturing, Engineering or Sciences Discipline.A proven track record within a fast‑paced, demanding manufacturing environmentExperience contributing to change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.What Are The Benefits Of Being Our Waste OperativeSalary of £12,698.40 per annumDiscretionary annual bonus of up to 15% of basic salaryLife assurance of 4 x annual salaryComprehensive employee assistance programme including 24/7 GP, unlimited mental health support and legal consultationsGroup personal pension scheme
