Sales Manager– Technical Retail Solutions
Location: Dublin HQ (Nationwide Travel Required)
From our Dublin headquarters, this role sits at the commercial heart of the business. You will lead the sale of high‑value, smart technical machinery that enables major retail groups across Ireland to operate more efficiently, profitably, and intelligently.
This is a senior, consultative sales role with significant autonomy, long sales cycles, and deal values that genuinely move the needle.
The Role
You will be responsible for selling proven, high-performance technical machinery to large retail groups across Ireland. Individual units typically sell for approximately €100k, with multi-site agreements reaching into the millions.
You will structure both rental and capital purchase solutions, guiding customers through complex commercial decisions. Some agreements can generate up to €13 million annually, requiring patience, precision, and strong commercial judgement.
New Business & Account Management
65% New Business Development
You will proactively target and win new enterprise-level retail groups. This includes owning the full sales cycle, opening doors, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and leading negotiations through long decision-making processes.
35% Account Management & Growth
You will manage and develop existing key accounts, strengthening long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for expansion across additional sites and solutions.
Territory & Team
Nationwide responsibility across all 26 counties, with Dublin as your base
Regular collaboration with an experienced internal team, including technical specialists who support delivery and customer confidence
Part of a growing, high-performing organisation of approximately 40 people, based from Dublin HQ
What We’re Looking For
Strong background in technical or machinery sales
High commercial and numerical acumen
Comfortable managing long sales cycles, often 12 months or more from initial engagement to contract signature
Credible, consultative, and confident when engaging with senior stakeholders
Able to translate technical complexity into clear commercial value
