We are recruiting a suitably qualified scientist or engineer for the installation, performance testing and qualification of analytical X-ray Diffraction and X-ray Fluorescence instruments manufactured by our client.
The ideal candidate will work alongside technical sales engineers in a dual role that will be varied and interesting, with scope to learn complementary analytical technologies in our portfolio and support a growing customer base in industry and academia.
Education and Experience
A qualification in science or engineering.
Experience with electronics, vacuum pumps, chilling systems, and X-ray and laser optics is desirable.

Current passport and willing to travel for training.
Lives in or near Dublin.

Salary range €45k–€57k, upper range depends on experience and qualifications.

General Responsibilities
Our customers are in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will join a team of sales engineers with office-based coordinators helping to plan work.
Specialist training will be provided at our base and abroad, shadowing colleagues on jobs and attending training at our client's site in The Netherlands.
From week to week, duties will include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, validation and qualification of instruments (working to GxP at all times), technical customer care support (on-site or remote), and technical sales work to help customers on their buying journey and win sales.
