Technical Design Manager

* Key Responsibilities:

* Support the development managers in implementing design team service expectations.
* Streamline project development processes to enable efficient and affordable delivery at scale.
* Provide materials, products, and systems solutions that meet agreed design briefs, costs, and quality standards.
* Ensure critical design decisions are fully considered and challenged in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Experienced design professional with at least 10 years' experience in the development lifecycle.
* Hold a recognized degree or diploma level qualification in construction or development.
* Experience as lead designer or coordinator on large-scale residential projects is advantageous.
* Understanding of building fabric performance requirements, heating and ventilation systems, and building performance ratings is beneficial.
* Excellent relationship management skills and ability to work within a dynamic team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and strategic thinking.
* Strong knowledge of Irish planning, development, and construction sector technical codes and regulations.
* Commercial acumen and understanding of commercial viability and cost drivers.
