Life Insurance Quality Assurance Specialist
As a meticulous professional with a strong analytical mindset, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality insurance solutions by testing Life400 system changes.
About the Role:
* Develop and execute test cases for policy administration, billing, claims, and underwriting modules.
* Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate data integrity and batch processing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
* Log, track, and manage defects using test management tools.
* Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
* Support UAT and production verification efforts.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years of experience testing Life400 or similar legacy life insurance systems.
* Strong understanding of life insurance products, policy lifecycle, and business processes.
* Experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and mainframe environments.
* Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
* Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with automation frameworks or scripting (e.g., Python, Selenium).
* Knowledge of modern policy administration platforms.
* ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
