Morgan McKinley is delighted to be working with a leading global organisation to recruit Procurement Specialist to join their growing procurement team in Dublin.
As a Purchasing Specialist, you will support the day-to-day purchasing process and help manage supplier relationships to ensure best value across quality, cost, and delivery. You will contribute to vendor performance tracking, support the purchase order cycle, and assist in process improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Accurately create and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
* Source and evaluate products, ensuring quality and value for money.
* Maintain supplier and product information within procurement and inventory systems.
* Support vendor onboarding and approval processes.
* Provide data and insights to support supplier negotiations and management reviews.
* Assist in budget preparation, asset tracking, and general administrative duties.
* Work closely with senior team members to research new suppliers, analyse market trends, and assist with negotiation of pricing and contracts.
Key Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
