McHale is currently recruiting a Spare Parts Stores Person. This is a permanent position, reporting to the Inventory Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Picking and packing customer spare parts daily orders, shipping via multiple courier systems (DHL, UPS, DPD).
* Preparing large customer stock orders for shipment with machine loads.
* Prioritizing picking sequences during busy season.
* Co-ordinating and confirming deliveries and expediting urgent parts.
* Stock taking, location auditing and general store work.
* Dealing with Customers via email and phone.
* Quality control on deliveries.
* Labeling / packaging with company logo.
* Locating material and maximizing space requirements.
* Processing receipts onto MRP system.
* Stock control, location auditing, Store layout planning and sequencing, Recording weights.
* Restocking of high moving lines and management of consumables.
* Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience in a busy stores department is advantageous, preferably in Manufacturing.
* Forklift driving experience desirable.
* Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
* High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to take input from others and meet tight schedules.
* An agricultural background is desirable but not essential.
