We're looking for a talented and experienced professional to join us as EMEA Senior Manager, SEG Accounting where you'll take ownership of the EMEA accounting close process and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and group reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.In this high-impact role, you'll oversee the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, drive financial control execution, and support both IFRS and US GAAP-based book closures. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver timely and compliant financial outcomes, while also contributing to the evolution of our accounting processes and systems. Your leadership will be key in managing transformation initiatives and partnering with finance leaders to shape the future of our shared services model.Job Duties & Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Accounting OversightLead the EMEA regional accounting close process, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate reconciliation of accounts.Oversee submission of local statutory and tax reporting requirements in accordance with deadlines and regulatory standards.Financial Records & ControlsMaintain accuracy and integrity of EMEA accounting records.Ensure financial controls are executed and documented, supporting compliance with internal and external standards.Assist in managing company-wide accounting processes and procedures within the regionCompliance & Policy AdherenceEnsure consistent application of Group Finance policies and procedures.Maintain compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and support US GAAP-based book closures.Operational Accounting ActivitiesPerform monthly and quarterly accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting.Collaborate with the Integrating Accounting Services (IAS) team to support general ledger close processesStatutory & Tax SupportFacilitate urgent statutory payment requests, including bank access and review.Ensure timely, complete, and accurate compliance with local reporting requirements.Coordinate with local tax and accounting firms to ensure timely submission of filings.Support tax credit calculations across Europe in partnership with the tax team.Education and QualificationsExperienced with accounting systems, preferably Workday, reporting and reconciliation requirementsKnowledge of US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirementsGood organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate well when working with colleagues/clients in other countries.Excellent written and oral English capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure & manage tight deadlinesExperience (Minimum Required)10+ years of business experience within accounting with increasing responsibility, with exposure to Shared Services7+ years of supervisory experienceExperience for a multi-national corporation with regional accounting responsibilitiesPreferred QualificationsFinance and Accounting degreeLeading Accounting teams through transformation for a multinational company in a Shared Services environmentAbility to partner with Finance leaders#LI-REMOTELearn more about our EEO & Accommodations request here.
