This pivotal role is critical to driving business growth and project success by effectively managing incoming sales enquiries, scheduling department support, and promoting our client's solutions to architects, specifiers, and contractors.
* Meet or exceed monthly sales and margin targets
* Support the scheduling team with ironmongery schedules and specifications
* Leverage industry contacts for new business opportunities
* Follow up professionally on estimated projects
* Promote the client's offering to architects, specifiers, and main contractors
* Collaborate with colleagues across business units to uncover and maximise opportunities
* Build relationships with new customers particularly among contractors not yet trading with the company
Ideal candidate profile
* Proven experience in internal sales preferably within construction or a related industry
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, and specifiers
* Experience with estimating, scheduling, or specification writing is an advantage
* Comfortable using CRM and sales tools
* Sales professional with passion for exceeding targets and building client relationships
