Responsibilities
As a Piping Graduate at PM Group, your day to day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities:
* Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, man hours etc.
* 3D Piping Design
* Work with senior designers and assist in producing piping isometrics from 3D models, in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures. Duties would include:
* Equipment modelling
* Vendor equipment and instrumentation data tracking
* Pipe modelling
* Isometric generation and extraction
* Interactive and visual clash checking
* Isometric back drafting
* Coordination of design with fellow designers
Qualifications
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering level 7 or 8
* Excellent spatial awareness
* Ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline 3D design environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Familiar with 3D design software
* Strong work ethic
