Key Responsibilities
Lead the commissioning of domestic heat pump systems to manufacturer and industry standards.
Carry out pre-commissioning checks, system validation, and performance optimisation.
Conduct post-installation commissioning inspections and sign-offs.
Diagnose and resolve commissioning-related issues, ensuring systems operate efficiently from handover.
Calibrate and configure system controls to maximise performance and energy efficiency.
Provide technical support to installation teams during and after installation.
Deliver clear handover guidance and basic system education to customers.
Complete and maintain accurate commissioning reports and documentation via CRM systems.
Schedule and manage commissioning appointments across the Munster region.
Ensure all work complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support when required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical mindset with a focus on system performance, diagnostics, and attention to detail.
A problem‑solver with a structured, methodical approach.
Highly organised and capable of managing your own schedule.
Comfortable working independently in a field‑based role.
A strong communicator, able to liaise with customers and internal teams.
Background in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing.
Experience or strong interest in heat pump technology and renewable systems.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Munster.
Familiarity with CRM or field service management systems.
Previous experience specifically in heat pump commissioning (desirable but not essential).
Fluent English – verbal and written.
