ACCOMMODATION ASSISTANT
We are seeking an Accommodation assistant to cover Maternity Leave. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and will enjoy all aspects of guest service. Weekend work and flexibility are required in this position( please note this position is Monday - Sunday - not suitable for full time students).
Key Responsibilities Accommodation Assistant:
· Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas to the highest standard
· Highlight any items or areas that need maintenance
· Ensure high level of cleanliness is kept at all times.
· Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
· Conduct deep cleaning tasks on a regular schedule as requested by the Accommodation Manager
· Maintain laundry and store rooms in a clean & organised condition at all times.
· Ensure a high level of hotel and guest security at all times
· Presenting a clean, fresh and friendly environment to the agreed standard ensuring guest satisfaction.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Ensuring customer satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms to the company standard.
· Turn down service
· Carrying out periodic deep cleaning in guest rooms and areas throughout the hotel.
· Cleaning public areas and ensuring corridors and walkways are kept free from all hazards.
· Working in a fast-paced environment
EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidates shall have previous experience working in the Accommodation Department of a Hotel property. They shall have excellent high standards of cleaning and shall be flexible with regards to working hours. Weekend work is required.
