Position
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Nua Healthcare Services.
Responsibilities
* Plan and provide high quality, evidence-based psychological services across the business to people with complex mental health needs, including assessment, diagnosis, devising, monitoring and reviewing treatment programmes.
* Facilitate therapy/counselling sessions and group interventions.
* Live our Mission, Vision and Values; promote and deliver services within the Company ethos and philosophy.
* Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing an integrated and coordinated service and contributing to person-centred plans.
* Provide advice and support programmes and training for staff, parents and families.
* Maintain statistical records and contribute to service reports and other relevant reporting.
* Participate in general development of the service and ensure professional standards are maintained.
* Keep up-to-date with developments in psychology and early intervention; attend training and participate in research and development.
* Maintain quality standards within the service and participate in quality development; comply with policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Possess a recognised professional postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology. Clinicians in the process of completing their qualification are welcome to apply.
* For qualifications outside the Republic of Ireland: have qualification validated by the Department of Health, or be working toward compensatory criteria; include validation letter with application. Nua can support supervision for compensatory measures.
* Must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Experience
* Experience in working with individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Health difficulties is desirable.
* Newly-qualified candidates who have completed Clinical Psychology doctorate programmes or equivalent are welcome to apply.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
* Must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Skills
* Full Clean Driving Licence required for the post.

* Ability to work within a fast-paced and flexible team; good listener; eager to learn.
