Job Description: As a Junior Quantity Surveyor joining the commercial team you will assist the Regional Director of Operations in the management of the commercial aspects of all projects.

Responsibilities:
· Assisting with commercial management of project(s) and reporting to Regional Director of Operations
· Procurement of Subcontractor Packages
· Measurement of project elements
· Preparation of interim valuations and agreement of subcontractor accounts
· Preparation of variation log and detailed variation costings
· Attending site meetings as required
· Prepare standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
· Prepare tender documents as required by procurement choice
· Analyse tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement
· Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
· Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
· Prepare and agree final accounts
· Perform other duties as may reasonably be required for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Experience and Requirements:
· Must have a Quantity Surveying qualification.
· Good IT skills with competency using Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word and Excel
· To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.
· To be methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate.
· A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
· Excellent IT skills
· Excellent communications skills
· BSc essential in a construction related discipline
