Job Title: Construction Quality Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of a large-scale construction project. This role involves ensuring that all aspects of the project, from initial planning to final handover, are carried out in accordance with strict quality control measures.
This position requires a high degree of technical knowledge, particularly in the fields of engineering and construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in capital project execution, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
A key aspect of this role is the management of vendors and contractors, ensuring that they adhere to quality assurance and quality control plans. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting regular QC audits of field activities, reviewing inspection and test plans, and ensuring that all personnel involved in the project are properly trained.

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a Level 8 qualification in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. They should also have extensive experience (min 15 years) in capital project execution, delivering construction handover of major projects >150MM, and developing and managing the execution of construction quality plans.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the quality of construction of a major €240m capital project.
* Control the adherence to specification by vendors and contractors.
* Review ITPs for vendors and contractors and ensure correct execution.
* Ensure construction quality is a focal point of contractor mobilisation.
* Review contractor bids wrt quality - systems and personnel review.
* Liaise with any validation activities involved in completing the above project, in conjunction with the CQV team.
Requirements:
* Level 8 qualification (Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
* Extensive experience (min 15 years) in Capital project execution.
* Detailed knowledge of engineering codes.
* Development and execution of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
