We are currently seeking a highly motivated Social Care Worker to join our team at the Adult Respite Service, Ard na Mara, Ladysbridge, Co Cork.
Contract Hours: 19.5 hours per week (part-time)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Scale: €38,107 to €50,953 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 31/32/34 days pro rata
Overview of the Post: To work as part of the team, supporting the Person in Charge in providing quality services to adults with disabilities.
Assisting Service Owners in planning and directing supports to meet personal goals and fostering community connections.

The successful candidate will have: Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Eligibility criteria include holding or being eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU, with details specified in the job ad.
(b) Candidates must possess the necessary knowledge and ability for the role, including suitability and relevant experience, such as contributing to personal plans, delivering personal care, administering medication, working with adults with disabilities, and working within a multidisciplinary team.

On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Care Workers Register.
Experience required includes developing personal plans, acting as a key worker, delivering personal care, assisting with medical needs, engaging in supervision, and working with adults with various disabilities.
