Working with IFS Cloud as our primary ERP system, you will ensure data consistency, quality, and governance whilst building and managing a high-performing team of data professionals. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to drive data-driven decision making and operational excellence.You will initially manage a team comprising data encoders and a data analyst, with the strategic mandate to expand this team as the master data management function matures and business requirements evolve. This position contributes directly to supply chain efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business success through the delivery of trusted, accurate, and accessible data assets.Master Data Management & IFS Cloud OperationsOversee the management of critical master data domains within IFS Cloud, including items, routings, BOMs, customers, suppliers, and other core business entitiesEnsure accurate setup and maintenance of master data in IFS Cloud, adhering to established data governance policies and proceduresMonitor data quality across IFS Cloud modules and implement corrective measures to address inconsistencies and inaccuraciesCollaborate with technical teams to optimise IFS Cloud configurations for master data management and integration requirementsEstablish and maintain master data creation, modification, and retirement processes specific to IFS Cloud functionalityData Governance & Quality ManagementDevelop and implement comprehensive master data management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with IFS Cloud capabilitiesEstablish enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and standards ensuring compliance with regulatory requirementsDefine data quality metrics, monitoring processes, and reporting mechanisms to drive continuous improvementConduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and correct discrepancies in master data across IFS CloudEnsure compliance with data privacy regulations including GDPR and industry-specific requirementsTeam Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data encoders and data analyst, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementAssess current team capabilities and develop strategic plans for team expansion based on business requirements and growth objectivesEstablish performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team effectiveness and professional developmentStakeholder Management & Process Improvement Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Analytics and other senior stakeholders to align data management initiatives with business strategyWork with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure master data solutions meet business needsLead process improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, accessibility, and usability across IFS CloudProject Management & Strategic Initiatives Lead master data management projects within IFS Cloud, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraintsManage data-related aspects of business transformation projects and system implementationsDrive adoption of best practices for data management and input across the organisationEvaluate emerging technologies and tools that could enhance master data management capabilitiesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related fieldMaster's degree in relevant field preferred5-8 years of proven experience in master data management, data governance, or enterprise data management roles, with 2-4 years of leadership experience managing teams and data projectsStrong experience with ERP systemsExperience with data quality management, data integration, and ETL processesCertification in data management (CDMP, DAMA) preferredKnowledge of manufacturing systems and processes advantageousIf you have the above experience and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference, apply today to find out more
