The Role:
As a home care assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes. This includes:
* Completing all care duties and tasks as detailed in the individual care plan
* Assisting clients with personal care such as toileting, washing, dressing, etc.
* Providing practical support like house cleaning, cooking, dishwashing, etc.
* Ensuring clients are provided with refreshments and light snacks as required
* Promoting independence and choice where possible
* Upholding clients' rights and preserving their dignity at all times
What We Need From You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A kind and caring attitude
* A full driving license and access to a car
* At least 1 year of paid experience in care OR QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of Older Person – or willingness to complete
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
